BMS x Gediminas Grinius Trail Running Camp Hong Kong 2019-20
Gediminas Grinius (G2), the head coach of Trail Running Factory and the champion and record holder of Ultra Trail Tai Mo Shan (UTMT), will be in Hong Kong again for the third year leading the BMS x Gediminas Grinius Trail Running Camp from 31 Dec 2019 to 2 January 2020.
6 themes in 3 days training including:
- Uphill training: Various uphill technique in different terrain, e.g. steps, running up steep and gentle slope, both concrete road and trail.
- Downhill Technique(Middle Level): Techniques of running downhill effectively and efficiently in different terrain including steps, muddy trail, gravel downhill trail as well as moss, etc. How to overcome fear of going downhill.
- Physical training to strengthen the muscle using for downhill to avoid injury.
- Using Poles in trail run: how to use poles effectively in different terrains including steps, uphill and downhill, etc during trail run.
- RPE training(Middle Level): How to adjust training based on your feelings and perceived effort.

About Gediminas Grinius (G2)
40-year-old amateur runner, good father of two and with the help and blessing of my wife running about 10 years.
Gediminas started ultra-running as treatment, which helped him to cope with PDSD after military mission in Iraq.
Gediminas said: “ Eventually I wanted to run further and longer, my mind required new challenges and this how I found trail running. After the first taste of it I was infected and now trying to spread this virus among others.”
“The greatest lesson that I learnt is that: the worst things doesn’t happen without reason and usually is just prelude for good things to follow.”
